How rapidly has the gas price increased recently?

Using the BBC article's first chart (scroll down a little to ‘Gas prices shot up after attacks on Iran), answer these calculation questions:

  1. Identify two significant features of the gas price since 2021.
  2. By what percentage has the futures price for gas increased in 2026 according to the article's chart and how does the rise compare to the one in 2022 to the peak gas price shown.
