Surging value of the 'magnificent seven'

Using this data about big tech companies, answer the following questions:

1. Calculate the percentage increase in the combined market capitalisation of the seven major US tech companies between 2000 and 2024.

2. How has Microsoft’s share of the total market capitalisation changed between 2000 and 2004. Calculate Microsoft’s % share to 1 decimal place for both years and compare your answer.

3. Which tech companies saw the fastest increase in US dollars its market capitalisation between 2018 and 2024? Which company experienced the fastest growth in percentage terms?
