CPI Basket 2025: What’s In, What’s Out & Why It Matters!

How does the UK’s inflation measure change over time? Every year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) basket of goods and services is updated to reflect shifts in consumer spending habits. In 2025, 23 new items have been added, while 15 have been removed.
