Corruption - should you use it as an example in a question on development economics?

If you attended our recent A2 Economic revision workshops, you may have heard our presenters urging caution when referring to corruption in developing economies. Presenters and students were discussing the matter in reference to an evaluative argument as to why overseas aid may have less impact (should the UK give aid to countries where corruption appears to be rife?).
