Carbon: From Pollutant to Product

The cement industry generates around nine percent of the world's carbon emissions each year. Roughly one tonne of CO2 is produced for each tonne of cement.

This video report from the Wall Street Journal visits UCLA in California where researchers are experimenting in how to turn CO2 into tangible products such as bricks that people might want to buy. Dynamic efficiency in action in the battle to tackle climate change.
