Amazon UK is in the news today because it has announced a delay in the launch of the e-reader Kindle.

Brian McBride, CEO of Amazon UK is speaking at the next meeting of the Keynes Society on Thursday 13th November. As always a warm invitation is extended to teaching colleagues who might be interested in coming to this meeting - which starts at 8-45pm, doors open at 8-20pm. If you are hoping to come alone, please email me for further details. It should prove to be a really interesting presentation and discussion - will Amazon find a way of being resilient in the face of the economic downturn?
