For those of you studying oligopoly markets and the issue of collusion, then have a read of this interesting article which focuses on the US government launching legal action against Apple and five book publishers (Macmillan, Hachette, Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins) for a scheme that it said pushed up the cost of e-books not just on Apple’s iPad devices but across the industry and across the world.
