I came across this while searching for some resources on the concept of derived demand when teaching the introductory lessons to transport economics. Derived demand can be a difficult concept for students to get their heads around. This diagram and attached hand out may help your brighter students move from 12 to 15 marks and also enable your weaker students to cement their understanding.
