About the course

This course is focused on providing practical guidance and resources to help students maximise their assessment performance in the Core A and Core B Exams and the Employer Set Project (ESP), in the first year of the NCFE T Level Health.

Drawing on the recommendations from recent examiner reports and their extensive knowledge of external assessment, our subject experts will guide you on planning your teaching and equipping your students with the essential knowledge and skills to ensure maximum success in the Core A and Core B Exam papers.

There will also be opportunities to look at the demands of the Employer Set Project (ESP), alongside application of the NCFE mark schemes, and our subject experts will help to guide you on key areas to focus your teaching on to ensure success.

Please note that this CPD day is focussed on teaching approaches for student success in the Y1 assessments. Logistical arrangements for timetabling and scheduling, as well as approaches to curriculum delivery and scheduling, are covered in the Teaching the New T Level Health CPD day.

What attendees say

This course was well structured and contained all the information I needed as someone new to teaching T Level Health. The course was led by very knowledgable and helpful people who did not overload you with information. There were many great tips provided and I have left with many useful resources that I will definitely be utilising in the new academic year.

Health & Social Care Teacher

Fantastic session. Very informative, great resources shared, perfect length of time and good location that was easy to access. Felt more confident going forward to Year 2 T-Level following this session.

T-Level Health Teacher

Great, supportive session. This is the second one I have attended and always feel more relaxed about the T-Level. Very informative.
