What we'll cover
- Here we introduce the different components of assessment including the NEA. We will consider the assessment objectives (AOs) at A-Level and how best to plan your teaching of the course, in particular, how best to support the development of students' geographical skills.
- We will conduct assessment and standardisation activities for all exam question types, to help you apply what you have learnt about the AOs and develop your marking skills ahead of Year 12 exams and other exam-style assessments.
- Focusing on topics commonly taught in Year 12, we will look at resources and strategies to use to support students - including how to address common misconceptions, with the 'step up' to A-Level.
