Teaching Activity: Production Line Challenge

This short activity helps students test their knowledge of several key terms and concepts in production and operations.

Production Line Challenge uses a 2-minute presentation which shows a series of ten concepts relating to the production areas of stock control, profit margin, quality and productivity that students need to categorise.

Each time the game is run, 10 concepts are drawn from a list of 20 onto a scrolling production line.

Students are challenged to categorise the concepts into one of four categories: Stock Control, Profit Margin, Quality and Productivity.
