Zombie Startups

Geoff Riley

7th August 2017

An interesting piece here in the Guardian reflecting on the very low percentage of start-ups that fail to grow beyond their initial funding.

There is a big difference between users and customers. If you have customers you have a business. A lot of digital start-ups seem obsessed with growing their user-base rather than building a layer of paying customers that can help a start-up become cash-flow positive.
