The global market for endurance sports continues to grow tremendously quickly.

With well over a million endurance events organised across the globe each year - ranging from ultra-distance running to long-haul kayaking and trekking, endurance sports fans have an enormous amount of choice. Is there a gap in the market for an AirBNB style business to list these events and provide support to athletes?

Two recent Cambridge graduates — Sam Browne and Alex Rose — and Neil Locke, the former head of technology at MoneySupermarket.com have founded Let's Do This and they have successfully raised some seed finance as Business Insider reports here. The "human capital" of investors is important - not least because of their track record and networking capabilities.

For any start-up users should not be confused with customers! We'll be following Let's Do This with interest as they battle to establish a foothold.
