Profits on a Pair of Jeans - Online versus Offline Channels

For the same pair of jeans, the variation in profit margins between bricks & mortar retailers versus e-commerce channels can be significant.
This great tweet from Laura Behrens Wu, Founder and CEO of GoShippo flags up a tremendous graphic that you might want to use in your teaching. It looks at the profit margins of selling a pair of premium brand jeans manufactured in Mexico. The margin from selling online is nearly twice as big!
