Ansoff Matrix the life out of this development, with the news that Crocs are going to launch a cowboy boot, replete with spurs which, the company is a response to consumer demand. Really?

Either way, it's either a good example of product development - the launch of a new product in existing markets, or, if you think that it's designed to appeal to people outside of the traditional Crocs market, might it be diversification? That said, I can't see many Texas ranch hands wearing them.

The Ansoff Matrix - a really interesting tool! To put it simply, the Ansoff Matrix is a strategic tool that helps businesses analyze their growth options and make informed decisions about their strategy. It's essentially a 2x2 matrix with four quadrants, each representing a different growth strategy. The four quadrants are: market penetration, market development, product development, and diversification. Market penetration involves selling more of an existing product to an existing market. Market development involves selling an existing product to a new market. Product development involves selling a new product to an existing market.
