Alphabet Ditches a (Robot) Dog from its Business Portfolio

Alphabet Inc is perhaps the best example for students to explore when it comes to a diversified business portfolio. The holding company of Google (amongst many other businesses) has decided to put up for sale a business that has attracted a lot of attention, but has failed to demonstrate commercial potential for its inventions.
