UK pub sector expands for the first time in 10 years
17th December 2019
Interesting news - the pub sector is showing signs of stabilising, with a slight increase in the number of pubs in the UK.
This reflects the fact that pubs have adapted to the harsher trading environment, and diversified, to attract custom. It's also quite interesting in that this is happening at a time when the number of drinkers is declining as social attitudes to drinking especially among the young seem to be changing quite quickly.
