Question 8: Define [2 marks] - Life Course
By the term life course, sociologists mean an approach often adopted by Postmodern sociologists that involves analysing the way in which an individual’s experiences of the family vary according to the stage they are at in their lives. It often focuses on the meanings family members give to life events such as leaving home, getting divorced etc.
