With Britain in the worst cost of living crisis in decades, Dispatches follows Citizens Advice Bureau debt advisors and three stories of extreme hardship and poverty.

This is not an easy watch but it has some good examples to support your teaching of People, Work and Welfare at A-Level and Poverty as a Social Issue at GCSE - https://www.channel4.com/progr...

These older episodes are also worth a watch:

Growing Up Poor: Breadline Kids - https://www.channel4.com/progr...

Growing Up Poor: Hidden Homeless - https://www.channel4.com/progr...

And I'm sure you have already done so, but it's always worth a quick chat with the pastoral team to see whether there are any of your students who are experiencing similar difficulties at the moment, so you can consider carefully how to present some of the topics around poverty in the classroom.
