I am sure that most people would admit that they have gone into work or school when they have been feeling unwell, but according to researchers at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), they discovered "unhealthy trends in the workplace".

The CIPD found that 4/5 respondents had observed 'presenteeism' in their workplace. According to the article, the effect of this has meant that some employee would still go into work even though they may have a doctor's note having been signed off sick.

This article could be used for the Health unit as well as Work, Poverty and Welfare.
