Podcast Recommendation: The New York Times - The Daily

Another podcast recommendation that could be provided to students to help them understand more about global issues (with many links to sociology) is The Daily from The New York Times.
Much like BBC Radio Four's Beyond Today, the episodes are relatively short (usually under 30 minutes) and provide wide analysis of a number of contemporary issues.
Students could be asked to subscribe and provide feedback as part of a summer project, or provided as an extension task for some of the different units in the AQA Sociology course.
