Is Marriage Good For You?

According to research, being married as compared to being single provides health benefits such as lower stress levels and can lower risk of cardiovascular disorders.
However, a recent study from Switzerland also found that being single has its own health benefits but in a different way. The researchers cite that over time married people can become less healthy; this could be due to an increase in stress if a partner falls ill or if a couple goes through a divorce.
