This article from The Guardian follows a manager at a women's refuge centre in the UK.

According to police data, there was a call to UK police every 30 seconds during the first seven weeks of the lockdown last year related to an incident of domestic abuse.

The article could be used for the Family and Households unit (dark side of the family), and Crime and Deviance. It does contain sensitive material that may not be appropriate for all students.
