The Reclaim Her Name project aims to reprint 24 books by women whose work had been previously published using their male pseudonyms.

The project coincides with the Women's prize for fiction (sponsored by Bailey's), and it will mark the 25th anniversary of the award.

Books such as Middlemarch, which was written by Mary Ann Evans was originally published 150 years ago under the name George Eliot.

This article could be used within the Theory and Methods unit (feminism, patriarchy).
