Conservative Politics in the USA

I had never heard of Steve Bannon before the 2016 US Presidential election, however his name is now largely synonymous with conservative politics and Donald Trump (with Bannon serving as the Chief Strategist until August, 18th 2017).

The following interview by The New York Times provides an insight into Bannon’s politics as well as ‘his vision’ for the future of the USA. The content could provide students with an account of the agenda of right-wing politicians and could also provide a deeper insight into some of the ideology of the New Right.
