This activity is designed to help students remember the mediational processes involved in social learning theory and it also helps them think about applying them to a behaviour.
The mediational processes are a key ingredient to social learning theory. They explain why we may not imitate behaviour and represent the cognitive element of the theory.
By using a cartoon of the processes occurring, the student has a greater chance of remembering the four processes and has a ready-made example that they have devised in case a description of the role the processes play is asked about on the exam paper.
