This is a tutor2u Psychology classic and a really fun lesson that requires minimal teacher input. All that is required is the handout provided and a bag of Skittles!
The purpose of this activity is to consolidate knowledge in relation to the five sampling methods: random, opportunity, volunteer, systematic and stratified.
Furthermore, this activity also provides an opportunity for students to calculate percentages, which is one the mathematical requirements of A Level Psychology.
