12 Identify [2 marks]
Suggested Answer: One behaviour that is characteristic of an insecure-resistant child is high separation anxiety (the child will be extremely distressed and violent when the mother leaves the room).
A second behaviour that is characteristics of an insecure-resistant child is seeking and rejecting behaviours upon reunion (the child will not be easily comforted by the mother).
This question only required students to identify the behaviours; however, I have also explained these terms for the purpose of clarity and understanding.
