How is the revision going?Unit 3 is approaching and you are probably busy planning essays. For Unit 3, as I am sure you are aware, there must be some IDA commentary to access to top mark bands. There are 3 potential problems with IDA.

Problem # 1: None is included. Make sure you consider it whilst planning....

Problem # 2: Too brief. It may be that any included is not fully explained. Remember you only need 1 or 2 IDA points per essay. If you fully explain these points you can, and will, access the top mark bands.

Problem # 3: Don't leave it to the end! Examiners complain that students often leave the IDA commentary to the very end of the essay, as an after thought. It should be embedded in amongst the rest of the essay.
