Exams are approaching!

AS and A2 students your exams are only round the corner...Find out how to revise here...

Revision is a very personal process. Different things apply to different people.

However, I always ask my students after they have recieved an examination/assessment/test grade/mark...

'Did you get the grade you revised for? If so, did your revision methods really work?'

The problem is when YOU think YOU are revising, but in reality YOU are simply re-doing what YOU already know?

Or maybe YOU are re-reading notes and actually putting yourself into a difficult situation by making yourself too familiar with the notes- rather than actually knowing them?

YOU may be familiar with whether YOU are a VISUAL, AUDIO or a KINAESTHETIC learner? (If YOU are unsure CLICK HERE to complete a questionnaire to help YOU determine your learning style! YOU should know!)

Once YOU have figured this out- try out a variety of strategies to help you learn! Not just recap...

Here is a small list I have compiled- if you need more information on any of them- leave a comment and I will get back to YOU .

I have emphasised the word YOU- as YOU decide the amount of work YOU will do and the benefit will be for YOU and YOU only!
