The following six activities can be used as part of a structured induction programme or as standalone taster sessions.
The topics covered represent a wide range of areas of knowledge in both NCFE T Level Health, BTEC National and BTEC Tech Award Health and Social Care, including:
- how healthcare services have been organised historically
- the establishment of the NHS
- the development of handwashing and infection prevention and control
- public health
- how health and social care is currently structured and paid for in England.
