These two activities can be used to support your teaching of A3 Energy in the body, specifically A3.2 Cellular respiration.

In the first activity, students will complete diagrams which visually represent cellular respiration, as modelled by the teacher, to secure their knowledge and understanding of the processes of aerobic and anaerobic cellular respiration. Full instructions, blank diagrams, and a consolidation quiz sheet (with answers) is included.

In the second activity, students can play a game of 'What Am I?' with the teacher as a whole class, or in small groups or pairs. A set of playing cards are included, with clues about different structures, molecules and processes in cellular respiration. The aim is to correctly identify what the clues refer to, while earning as many points as possible.
