These two activities can be used to support your teaching of A1 cells.

The Cells Worksheet is intended for students to complete independently to commence their learning of this topic and the Unit. It contains a labelling activity, a matching activity and a series of short answer questions. This worksheet can be set as a preparatory or transitional piece of work. Answers are provided.

The Cell Organelle Charades is a fun activity which can be used to consolidate knowledge of the structure and function of the cell organelles. It is a paired or group activity requiring acting, possibly the use of props, and definitely some creative thinking! This serves as a helpful way for this knowledge to be retained for future recall.
