Teaching Activity | Survive the Walking Dead (Scarcity and Choice)

This activity is an engaging team-based way of introducing the topics of scarcity and choice.

Working in teams, students are presented with a list 30 items from which they must choose a small selection to help them survive a zombie apocolypse. After making their decision the teams are given a score to reflect their survival chances.

The activity sheet includes instructions and student worksheet as well as an online link to a score calculator.

The activity can then lead to a discussion about scarcity, wants and needs and choice.

A superb introductory or taster activity - no prior knowledge is required.
