Business Insider looks at argan oil which is used in beauty products around the world.

Why is it so expensive, given the fact that the women who make it earn less than the recommended minimum wage?

This might suggest that, in this case, the women are exploited by the market - or does it simply reflect that at the stage of production the women are involved in there's little value added?
