The Star Wars Multiplier Effect

Here is an example of a positive multiplier effect - this time from the filming of the new Star Wars movie. The multiplier is - to my mind - the single most important macroeconomic concept that you learn in your first year of post-16 Economics. Every economist should appreciate its significance.
It's a pity they didn't announce these details on International Star Wars day - or May the 4th, as it's more commonly known.
