Nissan aims to cut cost of making electric cars by nearly a third by 2030

Nissan has announced that, in the face of intense Chinese competition, they are going to reduce the cost of manufacturing electric cars by 30%. They think that greater concentration on EVs, battery innovation, modular manufacturing and bulk-buying of parts - all benefiting from economies of scale - will give them greater price competitiveness.
