How Europe is cutting power consumption

This Guardian article looks at what EU nations are doing to cut energy consumption.
From measures to reduce the heating temperature in public buildings, to reducing lighting in shops to cold showers for Hanover gym users, all measures that are trying to encourage us to think rather more carefully about our energy use.
And, of course, all nations are thinking - as good economists do - about how to incentivise consumers to avoid using energy-intensive appliances during peak times.
