Economics News Quiz - Using our Blockbusters template
15th January 2016
Here's a weekly news quiz to try with your students next Monday or Tuesday. It contains 20 questions relating to news stories from the world of economics over the last 10 days and comes in the format of our 'Blockbusters' Powerpoint file. If your students (or you!) are unfamiliar with the Blockbusters format, the old game show attempted to pit two teams against each other on a single board. The letters inside each hexagon are the first letter(s) of the answer to a question and thus, act as a clue. In the original game team 1 (blues) were attempting to connect 5 hexagons from left to right whilst team 2 (whites) were connecting 4 hexagons from top to bottom. You can run it and just see how many of the 20 questions your students can get right!
Rules, explanations and the questions and answers are all provided on the Powerpoint file.
