As Autumn term 2025 draws to a close, here's a handy round-up of all the free, online and face-to-face Economics teacher CPD options now available from tutor2u!

This term's free recorded Economics Teacher Staffroom Conversations can be found here. We chatted to teachers about all manner of economics-relevant topics including, amongst others, effective interventions, designing your curriculum and moving from teaching business to economics. These conversations nicely complement our free Teacher Livestream series from academic year 24/25.

We've also been working really hard to develop a practical range of applied On Demand Economics Teacher CPD courses that you can follow in your own time. We are really proud to announce that there are now 26 of these courses available. Each course has been developed and designed by members of our expert team, and also provide you with heaps of ready-to-use resources. Our latest course is "Teaching Poverty and Inequality'.

I've been really busy prepping our February in-person CPD courses, Success In Edexcel A level Economics (A) and its AQA counterpart. These courses are totally focused on supporting students with the most effective exam technique, so that they can really gain the grades that they deserve. As ever with our face to face courses, each comes with tens of practical and ready-to-use resources.

Our ever popular summer series of CPD events is also returning for summer term 2026. 4 of our courses are designed to support new economics teachers - whether because of a move into teaching economics from other subjects or being completely new to the teaching profession. We're also returning with our super-popular Leading an Economics and Business department CPD course. Take a look at our London-based face to face CPD options here.
