29th April 2016

If you haven't already seen our Economics A Level CPD events for the rest of this academic year, please have a look at the list and booking details here.

Our selection includes:

'New to Teaching Edexcel A Level Economics (Year 1)' and 'New to Teaching AQA A Level Economics (Year 1). Both of these are aimed at new teachers to A Level Economics looking for guidance on planning, teaching and assessing on either the AQA or Edexcel (A) versions of the A Level. The event will include a proposed Scheme of Work, a big selection of our teaching resources and tips on how to deliver the trickier topics in year 1.

'Fast-Track Your Planning for Edexcel A Level Economics (Year 2)' and 'Fast-Track Your Planning for AQA A Level Economics (Year 2)' are aimed at experienced teachers looking for support with planning and running the brand new Year 2 of the new specification. Along with a raft of resources tackling the topics of behavioural economics, theory of the firm, global economics and labour market economics we will be giving advice and guidance on re-capping on the Year 1 topics, planning for final exams and the importance of synoptic teaching and assessment.

'New to Teaching A Level Economics (Year 2)' is an event aimed at brand new teachers to Economics A Level, about to embark on their first teaching of the Year 2 topics. Here, we will spend time having a more in-depth look at some of the Year 2 topics that traditionally prove difficult for new teachers to the subject. As always, though, the event will be packed with a bunch of resources for teachers to use on the second year of A Level Economics.

'Achieving A* in A Level Economics' is another chance for teachers to attend our popular event giving tips and suggestions on how to get your very best students to achieve the highest possible grade. Advice comes from teachers working with large numbers of high-achieving students from both the public and state sector.

We hope to see you soon!
