What has been happening to the average price per litre at the pump?

Using the BBC article’s line chart (scroll down a bit), do these data calculation questions:

  1. Using the information, estimate the average difference between the average price per litre for diesel and the average price per litre for unleaded petrol.
  2. Calculate the percentage difference in the average diesel price between (a) when Russia invaded Ukraine and when the USA and Isreal attacked Iran, and (b) when the USA and Israel attacked Iran and when diesel reached its record high of 200.01p per litre.
