"Clash of the Titans" - the ERC's annual competition

27th November 2017
If you're looking for a great competition for your students to enter then there are few better (or easier to enter) than the Economic Research Council's "Clash of the Titans".
The concept is straight-forward enough - those who enter just have to predict final figures on a series of key economic indicators for the UK economy. It's like a Fantasy Football competition for Economics!
The competition launches with a special evening, hosted by Linda Yeuh, on the 4th December where three renowned Economists (the Titans) make their predictions. A special discounted rate for tutor2u website users is available from this link.
Individuals and school groups can enter (and teachers can enter an entire group via a spreadsheet). After entering you can check your progress during the year and see how individuals and schools are performing against some of the top Economic minds in the country. In this year's competition (winner announced on the 4th December), at least four students have managed to come in the top 20.
Further details about the competition can be found on the ERC website.
