About this event

The introduction of V-Level Education from September 2027 presents an exciting opportunity for centres, but preparing to deliver a brand-new qualification also brings important decisions about specification choice, curriculum planning, teaching and assessment.

This course is designed to help teachers and departments prepare confidently for first teaching. Our experienced hosts will bring together the latest available information about V-Level Education and translate it into practical guidance for curriculum teams.

The day will support you to:

  • Understand the emerging structure, content and assessment of V-Level Education
  • Consider the key factors that should inform your choice of specification and Awarding Organisation
  • Explore approaches to curriculum planning and sequencing across the qualification
  • Consider effective teaching and learning approaches for vocational education
  • Explore approaches to preparing students for the different forms of assessment they are likely to encounter
  • Identify opportunities to build on existing departmental expertise, resources and good practice
  • Begin developing practical plans and resources for first teaching

Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to work with colleagues from other centres, share ideas and consider the practical implications of introducing V-Level Education.

Join us for a practical and collaborative day designed to help you move from understanding the new qualification to preparing confidently for delivery from September 2027.
