  • This session provides a high-level overview of the AQA A-Level Business specification, including its structure, content and the approach that underpins it.
  • We also explore the different question types students will encounter and provide an overview of how they are assessed.

  • Building on Session 1, this session provides a detailed examination of the demands of each AQA A-Level Business question type.
  • We explore how students can structure and develop their answers effectively, with practical advice and guidance to help them maximise their marks.

  • This session takes a deeper look at exam technique and the strategies teachers can use in the classroom to develop students’ knowledge and understanding, application, analysis and evaluation.
  • We consider practical approaches that can help students move from knowing the content to using it effectively in exam answers.

  • This session examines the demands of the new-style quantitative and calculation questions, including how students are expected to use their calculations within extended answers.
  • We explore practical strategies for developing students’ quantitative skills and helping them maximise their marks, before looking more closely at how responses across the different question types are assessed.
