A fun, seasonal activity that gets students applying liquidity ratios to Ingrid’s struggling “I-Scream” ice cream van.

In this activity, students are given a short case study and balance sheet for Ingrid’s ice cream van, which faces poor weather, unsold stock and an urgent repair bill. They calculate the current ratio and acid test ratio, then use both results to explain how Ingrid may suffer from liquidity issues despite appearing asset-rich.
