Just-in-Time, Car production and the Threat from Brexit

A stunning video here from Sky News that examines the concerns of the UK car manufacturing sector about the implications of a Brexit that has the UK leaving the EU customs union.

The video goes behind the scenes of production at a Mini factory in Oxford where JIT is in action and depends entirely on the timely arrival of components and assemblies from around Europe.

You can see why Mini and other car producers are so nervous about what happens in March 2019 and the free flow of goods is potentially ended
