Typologies of Religious Organisations

These typologies have been created to categorise the differing forms religious organisation take. As a result, the shape, size, organisational structure and interaction with wider society will determine the classification of the religious organisation. The main typologies that are used are Churches, Denominations, Sects, Cults and New Age movements.
