Hmm, music to the ears of all on T2U? Well, I wouldn’t go that far, but this will certainly be food for thought for sociology students studying the mass media. Arnie’s viewpoint - as all sociology students should recognise immediately - fits very nicely into the old old debate between pluralists and marxists on the ownership of the media. Does the internet mean that we will now see a proliferation of information and views and will it liberate pupils and schools? Check out. And, oh yes, predictable, but I can’t resist it: I’ll be back.
