It is estimated that over 21 million people are living as slaves around the world. The following video highlights the issue and could provide context for a discussion that would fit within a number of different topic areas within sociology, including: Work, Poverty and Welfare, Global Development, or it could even act as a video to help introduce students to the study of sociology.
